Winter bedding drive

As fall approaches, we begin to plan our winter bedding drive.

Winters are very long and cold here and the dogs and puppies rescued are sheltered in outdoor kennels. The use of oat straw is critical to insulate and keep them warm and cofortable.

We use about 300 bales of straw @ $2.00 per bale and 20 bales of cedar wood chips @$5.29/ bale.

I have attached pictures of the previous straw hauls and animals making use of the straw. Nancy and Tom O'Sullivan and Carolyn May have helped haul in the past.

Thank you for any help you might give to the Red Lake Rosie's straw haul to keep the dogs warm this coming winter.

Sincerely, Karen Good,
