I brought this tiny orphaned kitten back from Red Lake after my first trip up there two years ago. She's as bossy as ever and all grown up.

Thank you for doing such a great job with Sherae! I'm the one who went out to pick her up from a family when she was orphaned and hungry. What the family told me was that their children said they could hear something meowing under their trailer but couldn't see what it was. The kids' father crawled under there and found Sherae (I called her Baby Kitty). Her mother was under the trailer, too - dead. No other kittens were with her. The kids' mom said they had no idea a cat had been living under their trailer. She was probably feral, and I'm guessing she had probably been hit by a car out on hwy. 1, which the trailer was directly next to. I remember that you once wrote Sherae had some odd health problems, and I'm thinking maybe because the mama kitty may have had poor nutrition that contributed to Sherae's early health. She was such a cutie! Thx for taking her, however. I'm still rescuing animals and need as much room at my house as I can get. ^_^
