Millie is back in her foster home and today is getting spayed and having additional quills surgically removed. We're hoping that after today she will be 100% quill-free. It really is incredible how badly she was hurt by the porcupine.
Her foster reports that her spirits are up and her energy level has improved dramatically. She's apparently a talker and enjoys talking while rolling on her back and being silly.
Our vet says we're not out of the woods yet, but all indications are positive!

Thank you for the update. It wasn't easy reading Millie's story, I felt so bad for her. Glad to hear she's doing better! :)
