RLRR Booth at the 2010 Pet Expo – A Tail-wagging Success!

This was our third year to be at the Pet Expo. Our dedicated volunteers shared information about RLRR, sold handmade and donated items and proudly showed off their beautiful and well-behaved Red Lake dogs.

This was a wonderful opportunity for people to learn about Red Lake Rosie’s Rescue. People from the local rescue groups that we work with also stopped by and said how much they appreciate what Karen Good, Founder of RLRR, and the RLRR Support Team do to save animals and to provide humane education to the people in the Red Lake Nation. We also appreciate those who adopt Red Lake animals and the rescue groups that help us!

Besides spreading the word about RLRR, we collected a lot of dog and cat food to distribute at the animal clinic in March. We raised $670 in sales and $256 in donations for a total of $926! Our goal next year is to raise over $1,000.

Our Red Lake ambassador dogs melted hearts with their joyful spirits. You can read all about their amazing journeys. Enter Elly or Dylan (true success stories) or Ginny in the upper left hand corner of the blog to open their stories.

We cannot thank the wonderful people from Bemidji and the metro who spend hours at the booth spreading goodwill and collecting donations for the Red Lake animals.

The beautiful animals including Elly, Dylan and Ginny are all miracle animals and we want to thank all their families for their great care. What beautiful ambassadors!

A special thank you to Lynn Mecum and Luren, her daughter for the great job on coordiating this event!! Sincerely, Karen and RLRR

Yes, thanks for the great team-work, making this year's Pet Expo so fun and successful. In walking around the Pet Expo during the course of the day, many people remarked about RLRR and Karen's work.....I found it exciting that they already knew about RLRR and
its mission. The Pet Expo is great
exposure. Thanks again to everyone
for being involved in this effort!

Your display is perfect! It's pretty and peaceful with a lot of eye-catching items to bring people in. I like seeing Nokomis' artwork on different items. :) Thank you everyone for the RLRR booth - we definitely appreciate it, and the animals appreciate it even more. Thanks again! :)
