We are The B. Family. On Aug. 21, 2009 we adopted "Sarge", a Shepherd mix from your facility. We renamed him "Bo" and we are writing to give you an update.
Bo is the BEST dog ever. He is such a wonderful addition to our family, we are so grateful to have him. He is very attached to my daughter J.
He loves toys, especially ones that squeak (the louder the better) and is learning to like treats. He is very intelligent and learns quickly. Bo is a very big love-sponge and wants to be held and hugged frequently. Did you know he's a lap dog? Well, he is, all 80lbs of him. We have to sit on the floor with him to accomplish this, but he loves it. A few weeks back we had a Wisdom Panel done on him- a doggy DNA test to identify his breed. He turned out to be an Akita, Bull-mastiff and Chow-Chow mix. It doesn't make any difference to us what he "is", but it was interesting to find out.
Thank you for taking such good care of Bo until we adopted him.

Awww, glad to hear it! Sarge was such a sweet big boy when I met him. He is sooooo very large, but he's very easy-going. I know Karen was worried about how adoptable he would be because of his size. Thx for letting us know how he's doing! :)
