Austin is on the move

Austin came to our April clinic with our helper and friend Vivian and was neutered and vetted.  A week later Red Lake Rosie's Rescue got a call that Austin had been injured and was unable to walk.  We responded, and got a surrender on him.  We took him to the vet and had an X-ray and found he had a broken pelvis.  Austin needed pain management and rest to heal the broken bone.  Austin improved quickly and was soon standing, then taking steps.

On May 4th he was transferred to Brown County Humane Society in New Ulm, MN, and we have gotten good news that Austin is adopted!  This is the first animal we have ever sent to Brown County and are very pleased with the results.

We are so happy for Austin who is a wonderful dog!

BROWN COUNTY HUMANE SOCIETY WRITES:
Austin was our "Pet of the Week" last week. He was featured in newspaper ads & on a Z-99 Radio ad.

Right after the radio ad, we received a call from a family in Belle Plaine. They were wanting to adopt a dog, but were having trouble deciding between adopting a German Shepherd or adopting a Husky.

As soon as they hear the radio ad about Austin, a Shepherd/Husky cross, they decided it was meant to be and adopted him into their family.

He is doing well.
