It was a cold day and Dan was going to Ponemah to pick up two cats that were homeless. Meanwhile, Dan and Polly got a call that there was also a cat in Redby with his head caught in the center of a wheel. This poor cat would have surely died had Dan not gone to help him.
Dan worked the skin around his head and made progress, finally freeing him! We named him Horatio Hubcap and he came to the RLRR shelter along with the two Ponemah cats that day. Horatio turned out not only to be a lucky cat but also a lovely cat. A large grey cat with some white trim.
Thank you Dan for responding to the call for help. Horatio Hubcap is safe, warm and doing very well!
