Help!

Red Lake Rosie's Rescue is contacting all of our supporters in an effort to save some of the 25 wonderful cats (most less than one or two years old and already vetted) that are languishing in small kennels at the cathouse.

There is another spay/neuter clinic in a week which usually means additional surrendered animals and cold weather will move into northern Minnesota any time now.

If you or your organization can take even one or two cats at this time, you will be saving their lives. When we are out of room at Red Lake Rosie's Rescue, there are no other organizations to send the people to on the reservation and we don't refuse to take the animals for fear of what might happen then.

Sadly, euthanasia is a better solution than what awaits an unwanted cat on the reservation.

I understand that everyone is pushed to capacity with cats at this time of year, but I wanted to at least ask before it was too late.

Please contact Karen or DeeDee or me at blog@redlakerosie.com if you can help.

Thanks again for all your help in the past and in the future.

Denise
