Lady was surrendered to Red Lake Rosie's Rescue because the owner could no longer care for her. Lady was more or less a watch dog on a chain on a farm.

When Lady first came to the shelter on May 26th, she was
on a leash and walked just fine. The
next day she was given the right to walk on her own and disappeared for four days, running off her excess energy from being on a chain.

Lady returned and soon went to the Aussie
Rescue. She no longer has to be
chained, but is an indoor dog with a very nice life! Thank you Aussie Rescue for helping Lady find
a great home!

Lady is a friendly
4 year old purebred aussie that spent her
life
on a chain.
Despite that she likes people, especially women, and
she enjoys it very much when you work with her.

Very beautiful little girl! Am so happy she found the good life with her forever family.
Lady is doing very well in her new home. She is blossoming more each day and is just a really sweet, gentle girl. She loves being groomed and soaks up the love. When we got her the end of June, she really didn't have a concept of play. Yesterday for the first time she started playing with a ball that my son tossed to her. It's been fun to see her progress and we're happy to have her as part of our family.
