Update on the pups of Misty Blue

The motherless pups of Misty Blue are in foster care with Second Hand Hounds. They are about 3-4 weeks old now.

According to Jo Tallchief, Red Lake Rosie's Rescue chairperson, who also feeds strays in Redby, Big Dawg has been seen palling around with Misty Blue and she suspects this is the daddy of the pups.
BIG DAWG
LITTLE DAWG??
Might be time to get Big Dawg in for his neuter!

Oh......sweet and petite. It will be fun to watch them grow. Such little beauties.....just like mama and dad.

I saw Misty and Big Dog together - must be at least 3 mos. ago now. There was a small crowd of about 3 other dogs with them but B.D. was keeping them away. I was hoping a fight wouldn't break out & it didn't. I have no idea who owns B.D. He has about a one-mile roaming area in Redby proper. Last year he let me pet him until I tried to put neosporin on his ears, then he bolted and it took me a while to get to pet him again. He's skittish, as was Misty. Misty was even more skittish. If I looked outside while she was eating, she would run. Big Dog's not quite that skittish, but I can't imagine how we would catch him to get him neutered. He's very smart, so these pups are probably going to be clever like their father - B.D. watches for traffic before he crossed the road. If there's no food outside, he'll bark for me to come feed him. ^_^

Thank you Polly for rescuing Misty so that she wouldn't go on in pain - and thank you for rescuing her beautiful pups!! ^_^
