On July 23rd we sent Aki, Sissy Fox and Toni to their care. TONI
By Monday, July 25th Aki and Toni both have deposits for adoption.AKI
Aki came from the Bemidji Pound and was transferred to us on day 5 when he would have been euthanized. Nancy and Tom rescued Aki and brought him to the RLRR shelter. He was neutered and vaccinated and turned out to be a wonderful dog. The Youth Works kids took a special liking to him and many wished they could take him home!AKI & SISSY FOX
Sissy Fox's family moved out of Red Lake and Sissy could not go along. She came to the shelter, and was spayed and vaxed and also spent a few weeks at the shelter waiting for a place to go.The adult dogs and cats that we transfer to Tricounty are all altered and vaccinated. Often they give us dog and cat food from their shelter as well.
We watch our animals go up on their webpage immediately, and soon we see a deposit and then an adoption.
We want to thank Tricounty, Vickie, and all her faithful staff who have been so great to the Red Lake dogs and cats for many years.
