The event last night was GREAT!! I hope we can plan a big fundraiser for Red Lake Rosie's Rescue soon.
Washable rugs! Lol, I know exactly how valuable those are - along with bleach, clorox wipes, laundry detergent, towels - our needs can be pretty basic. I was telling someone today (can't remember who now ...) that I need to put some small bags of kitten food into an air-tight tub and store that because no one's calling about a pregnant cat anymore. Karen's efforts are really paying off here - and the efforts of the Metro Team are helping improve the lives of animals here on the reservation in a noticeable way just after 3 yrs. I've noticed quite a difference in the 6 yrs. that I've lived here, and in particular in the last 3 yrs. THANK YOU EVERYONE!! ^_^
