Elise, her Independence Day

We are so happy to announce that Elise, a little darling surrender from March, 2010 clinic in enroute to her new home--She is being adopted by a nice family with two other dogs, and a large fenced-in yard.

Elise came in with sores and lesions on her rear legs as well as some mange. She was altered at a previous clinic, but now was no longer wanted. She has some scars on her rear legs, however, has healed nicely.

Elise has become a very nice part of the RLRR pack. She spends most of her day gazing up at trees and hunting for squirrels. She is gentle and gets along with all the other animals. She was scheduled to go out on transport at least 3 times, and was bumped by other dogs (not that she minds the squirrel hunting and free life) and we believe that this special placement was just meant to be all along.

She will be going to her new family the weekend of Independence Day. She will be missed here by all because she surely is one of the nicest dogs that has ever passed through Red Lake Rosie's Rescue.

Sincerely, Karen
