Thank you for taking the time D to give them a warm wet welcome into our group. Thank you Lonnie, Joan and Jenna for braving the two.

BOLTBolt is a 12-week-old white shep male poss. mix and Celeste (aka Panda) is a 12-week-old springer mix female. Better cuter pictures will be sent later.

CELESTE (PANDA)DeeDee or Karen please tell Barb O thank you very much for bringing these two bundles of joy to TLC. They are very sweet and I love them both even if Celeste loves my stocking feet. They became the best of buds and are chasing each other around. If you get anymore pups let us know we would be more then happy to invite them into our group. (D needs another shower so please hurry) (Love you D)

Another successful transport on August 15

BOLT & BONNIEBARBARA AND BOLTWe had another transport on August 15th. When Barbara emailed me a week ago and offered a transport, I was almost sure we would not have enough animals or placements to have a transport- but I said yes that we would plan one.

NANCY, CAROLYN AND BARBARA BUSYWell, during the week we had many animals come to us, and many rescues and groups stepping forward to take animals including Tricounty Humane Society, All Dog, Pet Haven, TLC rescue, Pet Projects, and Lindsay of Akin Hills Pet Hospital.

ODESSAAs the kennels filled up and Mike and I getting overwhelmed, we also contacted Headwaters and were able to get a placement of 3 dogs, Wes, Odessa and Maggie. Once again Carolyn and Nancy O'Sullivan responded to the need and also took this leg of the journey.

WESWes is such a hoot, and went to Headwaters. He loves to dance on his hind legs!! He was neutered and has all his shots. He came to RLRR after the owner said that they wanted him removed and that he was "mean". Well, Wes was not mean- he was a very friendly dog with a very bright future.

MAGGIEWe met at 10:00 am in Bemidji and I have included some pictures of the transfer of donated food, crates, and they took the "valuable cargo", doggies and kitties on to their destinations. A total of 13 dogs and puppies, and 12 cats and kittens went on the journey. We had one tiny kitten, only a few ounces that went to foster care at Tricounty.

SKIPPERWe are very happy that Skipper went to Pet Haven

MICKEYMickey, Aussie mix went to All Dog

SEVEN TINY KITTENSA very tiny litter of 7 kittens came to the shelter.

TINIEST KITTENJolene bottle-fed the tiniest who is pictured with Carolyn.

TWO KITTENSTwo of the kittens are going to Akin Hills Pet Hospital and the other 5 to Tricounty to a foster home. The kittens came with eye infection and were taken to the vet. We only had the litter of 4 days, but we still have 16 cats at the rescue and more waiting to come in.

FOUR SHEP PUPSThank you to all the transporters, donators, receiving rescues and agencies who made this transport possible.

Sincerely, Karen

Pup's pretty pink pedicure!

Dear Denise: Here is one of the most stunning pups we will ever see.

She came in with the starving litter of 8, and went to foster care with Dino in Rogers on March 8. Now she is adopted.

Sincerely, Karen
DINO SAYS:

She is so proud of those pink toenails!!

She just left for her "forever" home.
