Tula's home

FROM ALL DOG RESCUE:
A very happy ending for Tula

Tula came to All Dog Rescue with two of her puppies way back at the beginning of April. Originally from Red Lake Rosie's Rescue, she had been staying at Akin Hills Pet Hospital, where the caring staff was taking care of her and her litter of tiny babies. Her puppies were adopted quickly, but sweet Tula waited patiently for a long time to find her forever home.

Well, her wait was certainly worth it - after 5 months in foster care Tula was adopted by a wonderful home - boy was it worth the wait!! Tula's foster mom got an update and these great photos the day after she was adopted:

"Just thought we'd let you know that things are moving along smoothly. The first 24 hours have been lots of fun, Tula is getting well acquainted w/her new home. She's interested in taking a cat psychology course, if you know anyone offering any such thing. Perhaps she'll be able to write the book one day. Anyway, she and Michael are definitely intrigued w/one another and Tula is a very patient girl! More to come! Thanks, again, we are very happy with our new girl!"

She wants to be part of the activity and it's easy to bring her everywhere because she gets along great with everyone.Tula has a good reason to be so happy. She was rescued on the Red Lake Reservation where she was homeless and pregnant. She gave birth to 6 healthy puppies, and now they've all been adopted and Tula is waiting for someone to pick her. She is currently living with other dogs and absolutely loves to play. She would love to be adopted as a second dog and gets along wonderfully with both small and large dogs. She has also done great with the kitties she has met.Tula is looking for a home where she will get a daily walk and lots of cuddle time. She is very affectionate, smart, and a quick learner. ula is potty trained and used to being crated during a normal work day. She has mastered basic obedience and is well behaved and perfectly socialized. She is a wonderful breed ambassador and will be a fantastic pet for some lucky family.

Tula's pups, Brinley & Bessie

FROM ALL DOG RESCUE BLOG:

GINGER / BRINLEYBrinley (formerly known as Ginger) came to All Dog Rescue with her sister Mary Ann - two of Tula's tiny puppies that had been cared for at Akin Hills Pet Hospital until old enough to leave their momma. Tula is still in foster care with us, and we just got an update on sweet little Brinley:

Brinley is doing amazing. She’s about 40 lbs. right now and has the strongest personality ever…I love it! She whines whenever she doesn’t get her way whether it’s she’s to tired to jump up on the bed or too lazy to walk down the stair…can we say spoiled rotten. She just started to like water and is learning to swim and not be quite so scared of her own splashes. She gets along great with other dogs and loves children as well. We’re still working on potty training though. She has an accident about once a week.

Thanks again for everything! She’s really been a great pup for me.

BESSIEThe day we posted Brinley's update, we got a surprise email from a woman who had adopted another of Tula's puppies before she came to All Dog Rescue! Here is a photo of her adorable Bessie and an update:

Hi, I adopted one of Tula's pups also, but just before she came to you. Her name is Bessie and looks nothing like Ginger (Brinley) just had to share with you. I think Tula is lovely and wish her all the best, give her kisses from us and let her know we are taking good care of her baby.
