PUPPY MANIAMama Penny and her litter of nine very diverse pups are reaching adoption age at their foster home for ARVSS (Animal Rescue Veterinary Support Services).
The adopters of Penny's pups from Red Lake Rosie's Rescue have kept in touch and had a reunion. Looks like a beautiful day and lots of fun. Remember warm sunshine and green grass??
GIRL & DOGSAttached are a few pictures of Kona, Denali, and Nico (all puppies from Penny's litter in April).
KONAThese pictures were from our puppy reunion in October.
NICOThe dogs had a wonderful time playing together.
FRISBEEIt was really great to see how well they all got along.
THREE DOGS, ONE STICK??They really loved running around in the yard and chasing after sticks together.
WATERING HOLEAfter an hour of playing, we had some very tired pups.
TIRED PUPSHopefully, we will be able to get them back together again in the spring!
We just wanted to let you know that we were at the dog park with Kona (aka Thailia, Raccoon) and happened to be chatting with some other folks on the way out of the park. Turns out that they adopted a puppy from ARVSS that you fostered as well. His name was Spartacus, about 9 months old. I think they renamed him to Chunk.
Sounds like he was adopted in June, like Kona was. It's always exciting to find another puppy who came from the same home!
Kona is doing really well. She's at 40 lbs now and still growing. She just graduated from puppy school, and is going to be taking her second round of training in October. She is such a fast learner!
We are having a great time with her. Our fence gets installed next week, and we are hoping to have some of the other puppies and their parents come over for a play date. It will be fun to see her littermates.
Thanks again for all that you do for so many dogs who need homes!
