UPDATE FROM FAMILY:
Bodee, formerly Hercules, has been a perfect addition to our home. We love him and his little personality.

Bodee loves walks, and when he wants to walk he finds his harness and brings it to us.

He is very smart and a bit stubborn. He caught onto the bell on the door to go outside in about a week. He sits, and I taught him to stay while I throw his toy..he literally caught on to that in about 5 minutes. He loves to fetch, A LOT. His all time favorite toy is a stuffed squirrel. He squeeks it and has a preferred way to carry it and will sleep with it, too. When asked where his squirrel is he will look to find it sometimes.

In June of 2011, Red Lake Rosie's Rescue took in a litter of twelve pups. Two rescues each took six of them. TLC Canine Rescue have two darlings waiting for their perfect homes.

TEN MONTHS AGONo doubt puppies are adorable, but after a few months of peeing and pooping and chewing and training, they are all dogs for the next decade or two. You can skip a lot of aggravation by choosing an adult dog. Think about it.

I hope my readers will comment about their experiences adopting adult dogs :-)

Growing pups at TLC

TLC Canine Rescue took in six pups from a litter of twelve from Red Lake Rosie's Rescue and we were pleased to get an update on the little darlings.

LITTER OF 12 PUPSHere is an update on the little ones. They are getting so BIG. Poor little ones all had Parvo. We fought that and won; now, poor little Athena got an infection and we are fighting with that.

RUSTY & HERCULESOh Lisa and Bob- they are beautiful.

I don't know how you do it- to pull through all 6 from parvo- especially them being orphaned so young- I am very surprised you were able to save them all. I have not heard that the other 6 had parvo, but I will contact SFAAR and find out.

Must say that TLC always does the best for the Red Lake puppies. Have a great day!!
