Thanks for another successful clinic!

Dear Friends:

Once again the warehouse is all quiet as the dust has settled from the busy activities of the Redby animal clinic held over the past weekend.

We thank Akin Hills and Animal Ark vets and staff as well as the volunteers from Red Lake, Bemidji, and the metro area who worked harder than ever to neuter/spay many cats and dogs. We also thank Joan Lawson, Lawson Family Fund for providing the funds to hold this clinic. This is going to prevent, I would guess, about 1,000 to be born this cold winter, many of which would have suffered and frozen.

We don't have the final tally yet, however, according to Dr. Charlie, 78 animals were altered on November 6. If that is approximately the number we got on day 2, then my estimation is about 150 animals altered. That is so great.

The Red Lake animals once again receive a blessing from all you great
people. Everyone went over and above the call of duty.

Thank you!!
Karen & RLRR

LOTS OF SPECIAL THANKS TO CLAUDIA & LINDA FOR THE FOOD FOR THE CLINIC:

A very special thank you to Claudia and Linda for preparing the food for the clinic.
FOOD is one of the critical pieces necessary to run the animal clinics and we thank you both for the wonderful food provided once again for the November Red Lake animal clinic.

Once the clinic machine started, none of us had a lack of nutrition--we had wonderful pre-prepared entrees and lots of sandwich makings to keep us all happy and energetic!

Thank you SOO much!!
Sincerely, Karen Good , RLRR and all the volunteers at the clinic

FROM MAGGIE: I also, would like to say thanks so much. We are so fortunate to have all the wonderful people buying, making and cooking all the great food. We sure do not go hungry during the clinic's. I also really appreciate the fresh fruit!!

FROM COLLEEN:
I second that- it was noted by me and others that we eat far better at the clinic than at home!! thanks so much!!

FROM MARY:
Wonderful food!! Thanks Linda and Claudia!!

Awesome! Those numbers are so good. I know sometimes you feel down, Karen - but your efforts keep working! The next generation coming up is getting interested in animal rescues, too! :))
