Minnie Mouse

When Minnie Mouse came to Red Lake Rosie’s as a surrender after the June clinic, she was loaded with patches of missing hair, sores, and runny eyes. She had a bad case of demodex mange. Minnie Mouse came in with Oreo from the same household with severe demodex mange.
It took a long time for Minnie Mouse to heal. Day after day the horrible tasting ivermectin and antibiotics were given. She was a real trooper and such a nice dog. She got along well with all of the other dogs at the shelter and was obedient to go back in her kennel on her own after exercise time was over. Minnie Mouse loved to romp and play in the shelter yard.
Finally on November 23rd just before winter hit, Minnie Mouse got her lucky break- Her skin was healing so nicely and Minnesota Pit-bull Rescue took this little girl into their care. Minnie was in a warm indoor environment and will always be well cared for.
RLRR just found out that Minnie Mouse is adopted and enjoying life. Thank you Laura and Mn Pitbull Rescue for helping our Red Lake animals. I am convinced that had Minnie Mouse not been surrendered in June, she would not be alive today!
After Minnie Mouse went into her foster home, she was adopted by her foster family- They dearly love her! We are so happy for Minnie Mouse. No more chain, no more outdoor life, no more mange or hunger!
