Clinic Pt. 2: Food & Shelter distribution

It was a great pleasure for Red Lake Rosie's Rescue to provide food for over 100 animals during our January clinic with ACT V. Thank you to 20 for 20, The Shed, and the Dog Daycare Food drives in provision of food. Also thank you to ABE! for straw and to those who donate dog houses.

Beatrice and Mr. Red were so excited to see us pulling in with food and straw. Mr. Red stuck his head right in the bag when we opened it!

It is especially important to provide food and shelter for the animals during the brutal winter months here at Red Lake and surrounding areas. Extra fuel is required to survive the subzero temperatures,

Wallace, Paul, and Phyllis helped deliver the food and shelter supplies on January 10th at Ponemah and Redby areas.

Beatrice needs TLC in foster care

This is Beatrice who is about 6 months old. She came down on Sunday in the transport following the clinic at Red Lake. She is at the home of a RLRR foster caregiver, but we need to find another place for her.

She is a very sweet puppy, but has been badly abused, so she drops and crawls when you approach her or when she approaches you. She is very affectionate and will come right to you when you are sitting. After just a day here, she is already more trusting.

She loves other dogs and is fine with cats. She has not made any mistakes in the house either, so is well on her way to being housebroken.

Contact animalrescue@redlakerosie.org if you can help.
