KAREN SAYS FAREWELL; MAXINE SAYS THANKS |
Maxine was surrendered at our June clinic after she had been hit by car in Ponemah and has lived at the Red Lake Rosie’s shelter since that time. Maxine turned out to be a wonderful dog with broken
hips, pelvis and rear hock. Amazingly able to walk and loved to wiggle her tail in spite of her painful injuries. See the first post HERE.
We raised a total of $620 to help with a portion of Maxine’s medical needs. Dr. Melissa Dewoskin , DVM and her rescue Minnesota Paws has taken on Maxine and will help her with the necessary surgery, remaining expenses , aftercare and placement in her forever home.

MAXINE AND HER NEW PALS |
Maxine is a wonderful dog, and has already made friends with her new guardians in the metro area. Although we are sadly missing Mrs. Wiggleworm and her perpetually wagging tail, we are so happy that she now gets the medical help she deserves.
A special thank you to the generosity of donors, transporters, and Minnesota Paws for helping Maxine, another great Red Lake dog!
