Midweek transport Feb. 9

A cold midweek transport on February 9th helped save the lives of 9 orphan puppies who were about 3 weeks old.

NINE SHEP PUPSTheir mother had been hit by a car and died on Friday February 4th, and the puppies were outdoors in very cold weather with nothing to eat until they came to the shelter on Sunday, February 6th.

It was a miracle they survived at all. It was a challenge to force feed them milk at first, then, after 2 days, they began to suck the bottle.

Thanks to All Dog volunteers, Erica and Kathryn, a transport was organized and Karen met Kathryn in Bemidji and the little orphans got out safely- 3 went to All Dog Foster and 6 went to Act V fosters. Last I heard, all had survived.

JADA & JAREKAlso riding out were Corey, the pug who went to Tricounty; Colton the min-pin who went to the Min Pin Rescue; and Jarek (January Child) a white Husky which also went to All Dog Rescue foster.

Tom O'Sullivan met the transport with the pound pups and also brought a load of food and supplies.

We want to thank all the rescues and transporters who who gave the pups a chance for survival.

Sincerely, Karen RLRR
