Romeo/Harley at home

Pet Haven sent photos received of Harley (formerly Romeo) in his new home.

NOTE FROM PET HAVEN:
This is the boy you called Romeo - our foster changed his name to Harley and the adopter will undoubtedly change it again. He had a broken canine, right to the gum line, which he had to have pulled. It gave him a cute little ‘sneer’ when his lip would get caught in the space. He’s very bold and confident, enjoys people and got along with other cats too but I think he is going to be an only cat now. He also ‘mutters’ - walks around ‘talking’.

NOTE FROM ADOPTER:
The night went beautifully. He went to bed with me at 9:30. Went right to sleep and slept thru the night (I think). I had to wake him up at 9:15. He's had breakfast and has taken to his favorite spot to gaze out the window.

PS. Loved the down comforter on my bed as you can see :-)

Maime's Easter Basket

Easter Surprise!
MAIME
Red Lake Rosie's Rescue took in six cats from a family a few days before Easter Sunday. Five of the cats had been fixed at our ACT V clinic in March. The owners assured us that Maime the sixth cat was also spayed.
Much to our surprise Geri discovered on Easter Sunday Eve that we had 2 little "bunnies" about 1 1/2 inches long in the basket that looked just like their mama. This was our Easter surprise!
EASTER BUNNIES
We are happy to report that the little family and another cat named Romeo headed to foster care with Pet Haven this weekend.

Jasper, you Romeo!

Update from ARVSS on Jasper, a handsome boy who was quickly adopted and appropriately re-named...

FROM NEW FAMILY:
Thank you so much, Jasper's name has officially been changed to
Romeo!

He is doing great, this week we will be working to get him into our daily routine. He is such a fast learner, he is ringing the bell I hung on our back door to tell us when he has to go outside. He picked that up right away and this morning I signed us all up for obedience classes starting March 2.

He has claimed his spot on the couch already. He is loving playtime in the snow with the kids and he whined when they went to school this morning.

Now today he is enjoying my office and playing ball with me while I work.

I will keep you both updated on how he is doing.

GP~
