Turns out, Sarge was taken in by Animal Ark and we got a quick response to Mike's inquiry yesterday. I LOVE to know that people are reading the blog!
Hi Karen: On the RLR blog Mike was looking for information on Sarge. Please let him know we all are in love with him!
Unfortunately, he did test positive for heartworm so we can't take him for any long walks. He is doing well otherwise and adjusted very well. Ark has not put a picture up yet - seems like we are getting more returns than adoptions these days - sure hope that trend turns around soon!
Judy (another Red Lake dog) got put on hold for adoption last Saturday. She was supposed to get spayed tomorrow but unfortunately she has developed a little digestive problem (no, she just tested neg. for parvo!!) so we are going to wait until she is eating and pooping solids again. Going to go feed her a hamburger mixture right now.
Jamie will go in tomorrow for her spay - hopefully we can find a home for her sooner than later - she is such a little instigator and a talker - love her though!
Take care - Linda

Transport before clinic
We try to clear out the kennels at Red Lake Rosie's Rescue before a clinic, because there are always animals surrendered at the clinics and we need to make space for them. We had a nearly epic transport on May 23.
THREE OF SEVEN
FOUR OF SEVEN
Dear Denise:
We had a major four-legged tranport in more ways than one.
LITTER OF TEN
ONE OF THE TEN
Thirty-one dogs, puppies and cats went on a journey to various rescues.
CARTER AND SMOKY
Karen transported to Bemidji and met Tom and Nancy O'Sullivan and Geri Wainscott who drove on to Motley. There they met Barbara Olson who transported to Dee Dee Welles who transported them to St. Francis of Assissi, Pet Projects, Animal Ark, Pet Haven, ARVSS, and RLRR Petfinder foster homes in Rogers, MN.
JANIE AND JUDY
VICTOR AND VINCENT
We are thankful to all the transporters and receiving shelters and groups who helped all these animals get the chance for a real home.
LULU
Also thank you to Tricounty for taking Goliath, Copper, and Olivia, 3 fully vetted, adoption ready cats.
Sincerely, Karen Good and RLRR
