Another option for ordering food for RLRR

Hi Friends:

If anyone wishes to donate any of the following bags of food for a Red Lake clinic dog they may call Gully Coop at 218-268-4181 to order any of the following:
Tuffy's Classic Hi Pro 50# $30.45
Country Pet High Pro 17.6# $12.35

Tuffy's Gold Premium Puppy Food 20# $14.69

Although they are not the best brand of food they will provide protein and fat needed for the dogs who have nothing to eat and are showing physical signs of malnourishment.
We don't want to see dogs in this condition again
The Gully Coop will provide free delivery when 10 bags are ordered in any combination, so we are hoping to get at least 10 bags before the week is over.

Thank you if you are able to donate a bag.

Food delivery

It was a very nice fall day today at the shelter Thursday, September 27th. Tom and Nancy pulled in with a trailer and truckload of 4,500# food that Erich of the Shed organized from Robbinsdale Farm and Garden.

Also volunteering was Martha who came to RLRR for the first time. She lives in Bemidji and also helps out at the Cass Lake Pound with Leech Lake Legacy.

We had a great time unloading food and visiting with all the dogs free trying to grab a treat here and there. There was time to visit Peaches and her pups and to check out all the cats too.

Thank you to Erich, RFG, Tom, Nancy and Martha for filling the barn with good quality food for the Red Lake animals!

Sincerely, Karen

Kittens & Kibble!!

Karen has notified me of two significant needs for Red Lake Rosie's Rescue:

KIBBLE!!
Dear Friends:

We have a very low inventory of dog kibble at this time after the two clinics where we gave away to those dogs in community with no food.

RLRR NEEDS A PILE OF FOOD!Most of what is left is the individual packets which we will have to open and put in tubs for feeding. We probably have enough for 2 weeks. We have enough cat kibble and canned.

DENISE CAN TRANSPORT IT ON SUNDAY!Thank you for providing food in the past and we hope to get more soon.

Sincerely, Karen and RLRR

Contact Denise at blog@redlakerosie.org for drop off locations for food or make a donation to our PayPal account.

KITTENS!!
Also, there were a number of adult cats and kittens surrendered at the last two clinics.

CLEONA AND HER 2-3 WEEK OLD KITTENSWe need to find rescues or foster homes to take them. It is especially important that the mama cats Cleona and Leona with their young kittens get out of the cat house and into foster care.

LEONA AND HER NEWBORN KITTENSContact Denise at blog@redlakerosie.org for more information.
