One cold Friday night, Raven, a little black lab shepherd mix, came to Red Lake Rosie's Rescue as a surrender. This little boy had been run over by a car and was so sad -- he appeared to have a tear in his eye when he arrived.
Immediately, we started sending out his picture and story asking for help.
Jeanne of Carver Scott responded and took Raven into their care. Unfortunately, the leg was damaged to the point that it had to be amputated :-(
Raven is happy now and through his surgery with hopes for a new home and a safe environment in the future.
We get weekly and sometimes daily calls on injured and sick animals here at Red Lake Rosie’s Rescue. We are thankful for our partners and supporters who help us with this expensive treatment and care giving hope to many like Raven.
We also want to thank our faithful partners Carver Scott Humane Society and Jean for investing in Raven’s future.

UPDATE FROM FOSTER:
Hi Karen,
The surgeon wasn't able to surgically correct Raven's
leg, and recommended amputation. So, Raven is a member of the Tripod club and
doing just fine. He's such a happy puppy. Thank you for trusting him to our
care.
Jean
