Our Jack had a rough start in life, but those days are no longer. He has been adopted by the absolutely wonderful M family, and has a totally committed Mom and Dad, two very special sisters, and let’s not forget Skittles the cat (who they assure me does exist!). His Mom works from home, so lucky Jack won’t be left alone very much at all. He gets to play in their wonderful new back yard, and will also keep very busy going on walks, playing with all of the new toys they brought home for him, and he also gets to go on vacation to the cabin! And he has a new hedgehog! As mentioned above, his favorite toy was a stuffed hedgehog, which unfortunately my Belle got a hold of and unceremoniously de-stuffed. One of Jack’s new sisters saw a virtually identical hedgehog at the store, and brought it home just for him – I can’t tell you how adorable he looked wiggling from end to end, with that big, fluffy toy in his mouth!
Though it is always difficult for me to let a dog go, I know in my heart that he is going to be absolutely showered with love, and gently encouraged to be all the dog that he can be. I simply couldn’t ask for anything more. Congratulations to the M family, and congratulations to dear, sweet Jack – another perfect RAGOM match!
