This is a very sad picture of a puppy newly arrived at Red Lake Rosie's Rescue. He was also found at the Ponemah Dump and there is no doubt in my mind that he is Stuart Little's little brother.
Imagine this poor fellow suffered another 2 months with mange, dehydration, coccidia, giardia and eye infection in the right eye. His skin resembles that of an armadillo. I can't even imagine how he lived this long- The good sign is he had an appetite.
I started him out with food, water, and a small dose of ivermectin to get rid of the roundworms, and to START getting rid of the mange mites. Tomorrow I will start him on antibiotics for infection, then after that metronidizole for giardia.
Stacy needs your prayers- I am going to do my very best to pull him through--What a fighter!!
Karen :(
UPDATE:
Good news- Act V is taking little Stacy on Sunday 31st.

Maybe Stuart and Stacy can have a little reunion when stacy is feeling better!
