Hi - I got Lorna's crazy dna results so I thought I'd share them. Not sure how accurate they are though. Would never have guessed any of these.
37-74% Keeshond
20-36% boston terrier
10-19% bull terrier
10-19% irish setter
10-19% Afghan hound
I was thinking maybe Schnauzer, Wheaten Terrier, husky, some kind of wire haired terrier. Some of the Keeshond descriptions I've read sound right though. She has a really loud bark and her coloring seems to match the keeshond's.
Lorna's mom, Mary
Thank you Mary for bringing Lorna through parvo and then adopting her.
ReplyDeleteLorna was a homeless little scared girl when she was picked up at a residence in Red Lake last winter. Now look at her great home!!
BTW I thought she looked shnawzer (sp)
She's a spunky little monkey now. And thanks goes to Akin Hills Veterinary in Farmington. They are the ones that nursed Lorna back to health. She spent 6 days there being cared for by Dr Roni and Tech Lindsay and they are the main reasons I started volunteering at the clinics. They are good people!
ReplyDeleteAnd thank you to whom ever found Lorna and brought her to Karen's.
Lorna has such expressive eyes! She'd be a good "listener" - she looks like she'd be interested in what you're saying when you talk to her. ^_^ So glad she found a good home! I'm also kinda mystified about those DNA results ... hmmm ... ^_^
ReplyDeleteYes, Dr. Ronnie and company rocks!!They are on the road tommorrow to come and do another great clinic!! Thank you Animal Ark and Akin Hills!!
