Food, milk replacement, kitty litter, mange treatments, flea & de worming meds
More Feel Goods
A Red Lake school teacher took a leave for 5 years and just returned this fall. She can’t believe the positive change in the state of companion animals in Red Lake.
From Karen: “The formation of Red Lake Rosie’s Support Committee provides expertise from various animal groups, volunteers that come to the shelter to work and transport animals, help with clinics, animal placements, brochure and DVD production, individual contributions and fundraising. THEY HELP US MAKE THINGS HAPPEN”!
Transport & Fundraising Needs
December 14-16 work and transport. Christmas is coming and so is the great need for transport. Large vehicles would be great! You could go on Friday and do Saturday or Sunday morning transport or go early Saturday morning for Sunday morning transport. Susan Weinlick can drive (small car) or go with someone.
January transport. We need another group to work and do transport. Probably Jan 12th weekend.
Fundraising committee needed. Winter is a good time to brainstorm and plan. Funding needed for vet care, mange treatments, meds, pre-built kennels, concrete, nicer area for cats instead of just crates, milk replacement, dog houses. Karen gets at least 2 calls per day for help (people don’t want animal, can’t care for animal, strays in garbage or at the dump, mange, injured, shot, maimed, ill)
