Remember Raisin?

Perhaps you remember Raisin- who looked like a little smiling bear cub.  He went to All Dog Rescue in the care of Linda. Raisin was adopted and here's the update on this fella- no longer tiny bear!  Thank you All Dog and Linda for taking all the Red Lake puppies and finding them good homes.

Karen
UPDATE FROM ADOPTING HOME:
Kodi (formerly Raisin) is now around seven months old, weighs approximately 53 lbs.,  and doing great! He passed puppy level 1 training and is in the middle of level 2 at Petco and really learning how to be a good canine citizen.
Kodi loves rides in the car and going to the dog park to play with other dogs, in fact, he knows the words "Dog Park". Everyone that meets Kodi thinks he is a beautiful dog. Thank you for rescuing him, he brings a lot of joy to our lives.

Pup or Cub??

Have you ever seen a puppy that looked more like a black bear cub??
Linda, foster mom extraordinaire for All Dog Rescue reports a great adoption weekend finding wonderful homes for three pups from Red Lake Rosie's Rescue, Raisin, Bonita, and Lily.  All three of these puppies were no doubt the only survivors of their litters. I'll share their stories over the next three days.

Raisin went to an older couple who treat their animals like their "kids" and also have 2 rescued cats.  They just lost a 120 lb, 14-year old black lab dog and are thrilled to have Raisin enter their life.

We want to thank All Dog and Linda for the great care and great homes they find for our puppies!

Sincerely, Karen

NOTE FROM LINDA:

Raisin is now known as Kodiak (Kodi for short).  Forgot to mention, they work split shifts so Kodiak is home alone for no more than 3-4 hours at a time, which is something I always look for.  Puppies should never be left alone for a 8-10 hour workday, in my opinion.

UPDATE FROM NEW HOME:

Kodiak is doing great. He is already getting the going potty outside and didn't have an accident in his kennel the last 2 nights he was in it along with the few hours in the afternoon the last 2 days.

He is starting to not chase the kitties so they are a little happier, LOL. They also have their perches where he can't get to them without them having to hide, so they are getting to know each other a little more.

He seems to be quite smart and knows his name already, I know he going to be a good dog and we are in love with him. :)

Thanks much for taking such good care of him.
