Update on Panda/Skeeter

Panda and her sibling pup came from Red Lake Rosie's Rescue and moved on to ACT V for foster care. Panda suffered a surgical complication and lost a large portion of her bowel. It took time, but she surprised everyone and recovered fully.

She was adopted by an amazing couple who saw something very special in her. Now called Skeeter, this smart girl became an agility champion in a very short time! She loves the sport just as much as her family loves training her.

PANDA AND SISTER CORA/DANI WHEN THEY FIRST CAME TO RLRR IN DEC. 2012
Thank you to everyone who made her rescue and recovery possible!!

Check out an earlier post when she was looking for her home:

Sisters ready for adoption

Time for some recent photos of sisters, Dani and Panda.

Seems like we've been following them for a long time, but they were so tiny when they left Red Lake Rosie's Rescue for foster care through Act V.

They are ready for adoption now and they've got lots of energy to share with a active family.

Contact Act V Rescue and Rehabilitation for more information.

Sisters, sisters

UPDATE FROM FOSTER HOME:
Dani and Panda are almost inseparable! They play all the time, As I type, they are wrestling on the floor. They are so cute!
Panda is so much smaller than Dani, but she doesn't back down. Dani's behavior has improved significantly since Panda arrived

Dani Dearest

Dani apparently likes her celery fresh from the frig.
Otherwise, outside time is great!
Doesn't she have wise face for a puppy?!
Dani is being fostered by Act V and I'm sure is looking for a forever home soon!

Merry Christmas from Dani!

Dani was a tiny pup found wandering alone on the highway and was picked up by Merri Jo and brought to Red Lake Rosie's Rescue. She was transferred to Act V on December 1st and is enjoying Christmas in her foster home.
FROM ACT V:
Imagine this- you are about 7 weeks old, separated from everyone and everything - it's cold and dark outside and you are all alone with no food. That's what "Dani" has been facing.
Thank you Karen Howells for fostering her for Act V.
One week later Dani's 2 littermates are rescued by Merri Jo as well and also go to Act V. Thank you everyone for saving Dani and her littermates!

Ponemah puppy love

Karen sends a huge THANK YOU to Act V Rescue & Rehabilitation for taking in the broken animals from Ponemah.

CHACO
RUN, CHACO, RUN!!
ACT V WROTE: "You are welcome. We all fell in love that night... what can we say. Definitely not a sacrifice at all - more of a privilege. We also owe a huge thank you to Sandi Kettler Johnson - she is a CVT at South Hyland Pet Hospital and volunteered her time after a full day of work to help us triage the gang."

DANI
Dani was actually rescued by Merri a week earlier, so she had already gone to ACT V. Merri went looking for more pups from Dani's litter. Chaco might be, but Cora and Panda really look like a match!!
