Stacey/Brillo/Yoda update

I was so pleased to get a positive update on the puppy, Stacey, presumed to be Stuart Little's little brother.

He was briefly known as Brillo, because his mangy gray skin and dry coppery hair looked unfortunately like a Brillo pad. (Check out his original blog post.)

His health, energy, and his looks are improving and so is his name. He is now known as Yoda.

UPDATE FROM ACT V:
Yoda is doing really well. He's growing and getting a fuzzy coat now. His ears are standing more than going to the side.

He's in a great foster home and getting lots of love and attention. What a trooper!

End of July visit & transport

Mike and Lauren visited Red Lake Rosie's Rescue July 29-31st. As always, they worked very hard with the animals and making improvements at the shelter. They also brought much-needed canned catfood and some kibble.

STACEY/BRILLOThey vaccinated all the kittens, wormed and applied revolution to all the cats in the cathouse - and there are many- nearly 40. They also did most of the chores when they were here.

SNOW WHITE AND HER FIVE DWARVESMike used the Bobcat and skidded out a large tree that had fallen during a windstorm. He also did some brushing with the Billy Goat.

MOVING LOGBURNING BRUSHThey left on Sunday with Snow White and her five kittens and Stacey, enroute to Act V. Also, Jack the Golden Retriever going to RAGOM; Augie to Tricounty; and Smiley to Pet Haven.

SMILEY & FRIENDSVolunteers are so helpful to the project and we are able to get so much done when people come.

JACKThank you Mike and Lauren and all volunteers who take time out of their busy schedules and travel great distances to come and help out.
