Yoda is a beautiful white shepherd mix that came to the shelter two times. He was first surrendered in October 2012 after the clinic, and then the owners changed their minds and came and got him the day before he was to be transferred.
We heard nothing about Yoda until nearly 10 months later when he was transported to Red Lake Rosie's Rescue once again to be surrendered. The people who cared for him spent time in Washington State and so Yoda was just wandering around the reservation community and was in danger of being shot as a nuisance.
Yoda spent only about 2 weeks at the RLRR shelter and fit in well. Then his big chance came for a new home.
Yoda's new family sent this lovely card and wrote: “Thank you so much for Yoda- we LOVE him!” It was wonderful news to hear after Yoda had been through so much insecurity the past 2 years. This made my day! Thank you to Yoda’s new family!
