Polly rescued Stuart Little from the Ponemah dump and was tickled last night to hear that he even has his own blog! Even though Polly is ill, she still asks about the animals and is more concerned about them than she is about herself.
When he was first found, he was totally nonresponsive, scared and would not eat. We could not get him to look at us for at least 3 days. Now look at him at his foster home on his blog! I love the videos!!

STUART AND FOSTER FRIENDSUPDATE FROM STUART LITTLE'S FOSTER MOM:
I started a blog for Stuart Little to help him get adopted although he probably won't be available for adoption for awhile.

He weighed 18 lbs at the vet today, his mange is improving but he has a staph infection. I'm working on getting him healthy. He can't get his distemper combo for two weeks so he's grounded to my house and yard. He's waiting on his neuter, too, but I think he'll be fine in a couple of weeks.
Thought you'd all enjoy his photos. He's a character!

When we rolled into Karen's place a
ReplyDeletefew weeks ago, there was Geri, sitting on the ground in the kennel
with Stuart Little! This little guy was nearly naked with mange, but Geri was holding him and loving him up....what a wonderful
sight! And now look how far Stuart Little has come with all that loving. Thanks Polly, Karen,
and Geri for this incredible rescue. You boosted his spirit to an all-time high and he is looking
so great. And thank you to his foster family and all the family critters who are teaching him about the good life. THANK YOU!
He sure is cute, but then aren't all of RLRR's pups? They all seem to be extra special. Thanks for all you do!
