May 23 Transport

We had a transport of 27 little souls.

PUPPY PILE OF SEVENA litter of seven went to St Francis of Asissi.

SIX PUPS READY FOR AN ADVENTUREA litter of six pups went to TLC Canine Rescue.

We also agreed to take Josie a little female dog on death row at the Bemidji Pound. Then, the day before her arrival here, she surprised us all with EIGHT PUPPIES. Josie and her little family were brought to Red Lake Rosie's Rescue from Bemidji by Nancy and Carolyn, and the next day were enroute to their foster home in St. Cloud. She would have been euthanized at the pound, and we are so happy that we are able to get her on to a home. She is a little doll, weighs about 25# and the sweetest angel you will ever meet. I'm sorry I don't have a photo of her.

I drove with the van to St. Cloud and met Kristin there. Three little kittens stayed at the Tricounty Humane Society. Kristin took the rest to the Cities and met more transporters in Fridley, and continued on to meet Susie in Black River Falls, Wisconsin, just for the pup Tyrell to get to ARVSS.

TOMTOMAn 8-year-old cat named Jiggy Puff was delivered by Denise to Feline Rescue. They had adopted out Paige so we had one available space. TomTom is still there and much beloved by the volunteers at the shelter.

A special thank you to Kristin Ripley, Dee Dee, and Denise for helping in the transport of the animals.
