Happy Valentine's Day from Nanook!

Nanook arrive at Red Lake Rosie's Rescue December 10th. He was surrendered because his legs were crooked. He had rickets which we see often in puppies that suffer malnourishment prenatally and postnatally. Nanook was a lovely husky shep puppy and we were hopeful that good nutrition would straighten out his legs in time as it had many times before.

Susie of ARVSS (Animal Rescue and Veterinary Support Services of Stoughton, WI) took Nanook into her program and soon he was healing and thriving. Nanook was neutered and adopted to a wonderful family who loves him very much!

On Valentine’s Day, he received his diploma of “Puppy Education” with a very happy family giving him the love and support he needs to succeed. His name has been changed to Wallee. He no longer is alone, but has everything he needs- Look at that happy face!

We are so thankful to ARVSS and many rescues that take the Red Lake animals and get them great homes. Also to our transporters, food providers, and financial supporters who make it possible to save needy animals like Nanook every day here at Red Lake.

Sincerely, Karen and RLRR
