Lovely lady Diana

Lovely Diana was surrendered at the clinic at White Earth Reservation and moved over to Red Lake Rosie's Rescue. She was a VERY pregnant girl, so we were happy that Pet Haven was willing to take her. She was understandably shy at first, but oh so pretty!

We're grateful she was with an experienced foster caregiver like Mary Ann, because it was a difficult delivery over many hours. The second kitten decided to come out tail first and was stuck for quite a while. She had an x-ray then and after #6, just to make sure she was okay.

UPDATE FROM PET HAVEN:
Daphne (formerly Diana) is the newest mom to hop aboard the rescue train with Pet Haven. Her six babies were born on May 20. Their little eyes are just opening. 2 boys and 4 girls in group. 

Everybody is mostly gray like Momma. The girls are dilute torties with just a little peach patch on a foot or chest or, in one case, right on top of her head!
