Thank you all for her
survival and great home! Karen
NOTE FROM ADOPTERS:
Gillian is adjusting well to her new home. She is
full of energy and is keeping us on our toes! She is super sweet and we
love having her here very much.
We took her up to Alexandria last weekend
to visit Lorie's parents and she traveled well and was a gracious guest. It was like she had been there before. We
took her snowshoeing in Lake Carlos State Park and she was great - she can be
off the leash now at most places we take her around River Falls as well.
I've included a few photos of our snowshoe adventure and a few of her
crashed afterwards. You can see what is left of her giant rawhide bone in the pic of her sleeping.

Gillian looks so wonderful and so healthy and happy......what a great family for this sweetheart.
ReplyDeleteThanks for loving Gillian and providing such great life experiences.
What a beautiful transformation!
ReplyDeleteShe looks like a very happy dog, but dogs must be kept on leash AT ALL TIMES in Minnesota state parks. Please follow the rules and ensure our parks continue to welcome both people and their pets. Hands-free leashes designed for runners are great. Walking harnesses will keep the leash from falling under the dog. Have fun and be safe.
