Due to urgent medical issues of the two 4 month old puppies, Sage and Geronimo, we were able to get a midweek transport on May 2nd. Thankfully, Jen of Leech Lake Legacy was able to organize a team with vans to meet Red Lake Rosie's Rescue van in Motley to take out 8 dogs and puppies and one cat from RLRR, plus Tom & Nancy saved 3 cats from the Bemidji Pound that also were transferred.
TRANSPORT VAN
TAMMY & PAM
A special thank you to Tammy and Pam of Morrison County Animal Humane Society from Little Falls and Rose from Tricounty Humane Society in St. Cloud who transported the animals to their destinations. Also to Crystal who transported in the metro.
GERONIMO
SAGE
Act V took in our two little injured ones, Sage and Geronimo. Sage was in surgery until 10:00 P.M. on May 2nd thanks to dedicated Act V.
CASPER
Kate and Twin City Pet Rescue took in Casper, a wonderful cat rescued from a tree in Red Lake. Connie and her two daughters tried for two days to get Casper out of a tree. Finally, they succeeded and brought him to the shelter. He was neutered and vaccinated, before his trip to Twin City Pet Rescue.
TEHYA (PRECIOUS)
TOKALA (FOX)
We are so thankful to TC Pet Rescue as they have taken several little pitiful mange pups from RLRR and helped them in the past year. This trip they took two little mangey puppies, Tehya and Tokola (transfers from Leech Lake Legacy).
The 3 Bemidji Pound cats went on to AHS to be given their second chance.
SASHA
Sasha, a large puppy who is the littermate of Sage and rescued by Sharae went to St Francis of Assissi.
DEVAN
EMILEE
Coco's Heart Rescue took Emilee, a great chocolate lab and Devan, a german shepherd into foster care.
ZELDA
Last but not least, Zelda, a juvenile boxer mix went on to Tricounty where Rose tucked her in.
So, many of our helpers made this transport possible. THANK YOU ALL!
Karen
