2012 No Kill Walk for Animals

Our first fundraising tabling event at the 2012 No KILL Walk for Animals was a successful learning event.

After a few meetings we put together a plan and collected items to have at our table. We had some craft items from the PET EXPO and came up with a drawing idea for fun baskets that we gave away to people who signed up after they had given us
a donation.

Twyla came in as our largest donator with over $500.00 that she collected for the walk. That money along with the donations we got at the tabling event put us over the $700.00 mark.

TWYLA'S PHOTO OF RLRR SHELTER IN WINTERSpecial thanks to Twyla for her fundraising efforts and to Heather and John for their efforts to make this happen and working on Saturday. While we never saw the sun, it was a well attended event and has promise for the future.

Now that we have had this experience we can expand our plans for next year and encourage more people to do the walk.
