Teasle went to her new home today. She waited a whole month for her new guardian to return from an extended overseas trip.
Teasle is such a special cat-mellow, all-seeing, all knowing, an old soul. We'll miss her but are happy she is in her own home with a nice young lady to spoil her rotten.
Here's a picture of her right before she went to her new home -- believe it or not, she had lost 1 lb. in the time she lived with us, but she is a fluffy girl.
Peace to all creatures,
Barbara

KAREN SAYS:
Beautiful story of how older cats have a great opportunity to be adoptable!! Thank you Barbara for sharing Teasle's story and thank you for giving her such great care!!

Thank you, Barbara and Karen! I've had older pets and they're not as much work as the younger ones. They're also more likely to be lap cats. My pets are 2 yrs. old, 1 1/2 and 1 and they're off the chain. You just don't get as many broken things with older pets. :)
