Good Grooming

I wanted to share the good news that Cheri of Friendly Fins Pet Store in Bemidji is offering to do complimentary grooming for shelter dogs that need a haircut.

CHERIEOne of the problems we have in our area is many people get breeds of dogs that require grooming and they do not get groomed. As a result we are seeing animals suffering with overgrowth of hair filled with burrs and matts. Other items in the fur may include a fishhook, a piece of candy, and other items. Also it is a breeding grounds for fleas, lice and mange.

PEANUT BEFOREEspecially in hot weather, these animals are really suffering.

PEANUT AFTERWe are thankful to have grooming at the clinics and now Cheri will take in some shelter dogs for grooming when the clinic is not in operation.

MOUSER: LION KINGThank you to Cheri and all the clinic groomers for freeing these dogs and teaching the people that these dogs need to be clipped and bathed regularly.
