Congratulations, Karen!


Karen Good is honored as one of four Outstanding Alumni by the Northwest School of Agriculture.

Crookston, Minn. (June 18, 2008) – Alumni and friends of the former Northwest School of Agriculture (NWSA) will return June 27-28, 2008, for their annual reunion at theUniversity of Minnesota, Crookston campus. The theme for this year’s event is “We’ll Have a Rockin’ Reunion” and features not only great songs of the past but serves as a time for alumni to celebrate Top Aggie Award honors, learn more about what's happening on campus, share memories and catch up with old friends.

Four Top Aggies will be recognized for their exemplary commitment and service to community, church, education and family as well as their profession. The 2008 Top Aggie Awards will be presented to Charles Vind, ’48, Fertile, Minn.; Wallace Sparby, ex. ‘53; Thief River Falls, Minn.; Ray Anderson, ’58, East Grand Forks, Minn.; and Karen Good, ’68, Red Lake, Minn. The Top Aggie Award, given by the NWSA alumni association, is the highest tribute alumni of the Northwest School can receive.

The NWSA, a residential high school established by the University of Minnesota in 1906, held its first reunion the last weekend in June in the summer 1925. Faculty, staff and alumni of the Northwest School are encouraged to attend the reunion.
