Frigid transport

It was fortunate that DeeDee had already planned a visit to the rescue the weekend Karen was too ill to work. DeeDee brought along her son Jordan for his first visit and both of them did a lot of hard work in bitterly cold conditions.

A special THANKS to Kevin, too, for all of his help at the rescue during Karen's illness.

KAREN SAYS:
Well, needless to say we are experiencing record colds up here in northern Minnesota, and were so thankful to have a transport on January 23rd to warmer conditions for seven dogs/pups and Pet Haven foster homes for seven cats/kittens.

WILLARDUNOGARTHDARCEL & DARIONThis was Jordan's first trip to Red Lake Rosie's and when asked what he thought of it, he said it was "intense". He and his mother Dee Dee spent 2 days at the shelter taking care of the animals, clearing roofs, and unloading lots of food donations, canned and kibble for the cats and dogs.

Five of the 7 dogs had been living in the outdoor kennels and we had a record 33 below zero the night before their arrival. They will all appreciate their new "warm" environments.

MILONEE-MUSH & NAPOLEONMOSEYSpecial needs Milo, Napoleon, Nee-Mush, and Mosey are all bound for Animal Ark

SNOWFLAKESnowflake is going to Second Hand Hounds.

Lewey, the cockapoo is going to RLRR foster home with Dee Dee

Thank you Dee Dee, Jordan, Kevin and all the rescues taking the animals.

Sincerely, Karen

Yes, a big thank you for this help
during one of the coldest, harshest
period of sub-zero temps in the
Northern territory this year. Thank you DeeDee, Jordan, Kevin, and Karen for watching over all the critters, keeping them safe
and warm.
